Shihan Shidoshi Dr. Sones Sensei

Dr. Sones Sensei has agreed to help us celebrate our new dojo with a private seminar. This seminar is for current members or by invitation only. The seminar is scheduled for October 7th., 2007 during the evening. The fee is $25.00 at at the door, and $35.00 for personal checks. Sorry, no plastic is accepted at this time!

Austin Martial Arts Festival October 6-7 2007

This event is where you can meet many of Austin, Texas martial artists. I am deeply honored by Shifu Hwang for inviting me again as a guest Instructor. I plan to teach stick fighting techniques from the Kukishinden Ryu. I am very honored to have one of my best teachers, Dr. "Doc" Sones Sensei, teaching at this event. Doc san is a 13th. Dan Shihan Shidoshi (Master Instructor) in the Bujinkan, and a personal student of Hatsumi Sensei. Last year, I made many new friends in the martial arts.

9th. Kyu to Shodan: White belt to Black Belt.

This will be an overview of the basics to achieve the rank of Shodan (1st. degree Black Belt). Rest assured, you won't be a Black Belt at the end of this seminar!

Cha No Yu (Tea Ceremony)

This introduction to the way of tea will be taught by Noriko Sensei, who translates our messages to Soke from english to nihonto (Japanese).

Noriko Sensei is a certified teacher for the tea ceremony, and a native Japanese. Details are soon to come.

Meditation with Jeff Kehoe Sensei

Jeff Sensei is well versed in many forms of esoteric meditation. Details will be upcoming.
